BitGenius Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how P2PPSR handles information when you use BitGenius.

2. Information we process

We process account identifiers, verification and session records, conversations, feedback, credit and usage ledgers, subscription state, referral relationships, and security events. Metanet sign-in uses a public identity key. BSV payments create transaction and quote records. We do not need or request your wallet private keys.

3. Payments

Stripe processes fiat payment details and provides customer, invoice, payment-status, risk, tax, and limited payment-method metadata. BitGenius stores the identifiers needed for reconciliation, not full card numbers. BSV transactions are publicly observable on the network; we retain the transaction reference, amount, quote, and paying public identity needed to fulfill and audit an order.

4. AI and search providers

Prompts, retrieved context, and conversation history needed for an answer are sent to configured AI and search providers, including OpenAI. Retrieval queries are processed using Voyage-backed services. Provider retention and processing are governed by our service configuration and their applicable terms.

5. Analytics and observability

We send normalized product and reliability events to UserCom and collect operational metrics. We exclude prompts, answers, secrets, payment details, private keys, raw wallet transactions, and high-cardinality identity values from telemetry.

6. Purposes and sharing

We use information to provide accounts and answers, meter credits, process payments, prevent fraud, operate referrals, support users, improve conversion and reliability, comply with law, and defend the service. We share only what is needed with infrastructure, email, payment, AI, retrieval, analytics, and professional-service providers.

7. Retention and security

We retain account, ledger, legal-acceptance, and transaction evidence as needed for service, tax, audit, dispute, and legal obligations. Conversations remain until deleted or subject to a retention requirement. We use encrypted transport, least-privilege secrets, hashed session tokens, access controls, monitoring, and backups, but no system is perfectly secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review billing activity, delete conversations, cancel future renewals, and request access, correction, or deletion subject to legal retention duties. Browser and wallet controls govern local credentials and approvals.
